Because Organization is currently seeking a dedicated and organized Volunteer Coordinator Volunteer to join our team. This is a virtual opportunity that allows you to contribute approximately 5-10 hours per week towards supporting survivors of human trafficking. As a Volunteer Coordinator Volunteer, you will play a vital role in recruiting and managing our team of volunteers.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team to develop strategies for volunteer recruitment and retention.

• Conduct outreach to potential volunteers through various channels, including social media, online platforms, and community networks.

• Screen and interview prospective volunteers to assess their skills, interests, and availability.

• Coordinate the onboarding process for new volunteers, including orientation and training.

• Maintain volunteer records and ensure accurate documentation of volunteer hours and contributions.

• Provide ongoing support and communication to volunteers, addressing any questions or concerns that may arise.

• Participate in weekly or biweekly meetings to provide updates and contribute to team discussions.

Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

• Experience in volunteer coordination, recruitment, or human resources is a plus.

• Ability to conduct virtual interviews and assess volunteer suitability.

• Proficiency in using online collaboration tools and platforms.

• Passion for supporting survivors of human trafficking and a commitment to the mission of Because Organization.

This position requires a commitment of approximately 5-10 hours per week, allowing for flexibility to fit with your schedule. Weekly or biweekly virtual meetings will be conducted to ensure collaboration, effective communication, and provide support as needed.
